16 Installing user software on a Windows computer
8. Once the printer driver has been installed, click Restart to restart Windows.
The Adobe PostScript Printers dialog box appears when Windows restarts. If you do
not see it, double-click the Adobe PostScript Printers icon in the Windows Program
Manager Control Panel.
9. Select the DocuColor printer file that corresponds to your device.
10. Click Install.
11. Click OK when you are notified that installation was successful.
12. Click Close when installation is complete.
Setting the default printer with Windows 3.1x
You can specify the DocuColor as the default printer. Many Windows applications use
the default printer when you choose the Print command.
TO SET THE DEFAULT PRINTER:
1. In the Control Panel window, double-click the Printers icon.
The Printers window appears.
2. In the Printers window, select your DocuColor in the Installed Printers list box.
