Other Accessories and Kits

• Job Based Accounting (JBA) Kit - allows 3rd party software packages to extract certain accounting

information (data) from the Xerox 41XX. This kit is enabled by the CSE via a software key. This

new feature enables job data from the internal auditron to be pulled over the network connection

to an external workstation where it can be processed by a third-party application for accounting

purposes. The following solutions have been verified to be compatible with the Xerox 41XX:

• Text Searchable / High Compression PDF Scan Kit - an optional accessory for the Xerox

D110/D125 Copier-Printers. It contains hardware (memory chip) and software that expands the

capabilities of the standard scanning features like scan to email, scan to pdf, scan to ftp, etc.

These new features/functions within the PDF Scan are: High Compression Scanning, Searchable

Text PDFs

• Secure Watermark Kit – this feature is designed to provide security management of paper

documents by embedding job deterrence information into your paper document. This information

may include; job type, date and time of job start, User information, Document name, and other

such related information. A digital code is put onto your copies in order to prevent unauthorized

ecopying/printing of sensitive materials.

• Thumbnail Preview/Extensible Interface Platform (EIP) - See a thumbnail view of your copy/scan

job right at the touch screen. Allows you to merge jobs and delete unwanted pages. EIP software

platform enables you to shape our copier/printer to fit the way you work. Using standard web-

based tools, your developers can quickly build and access applications that can be customized for

the user interface like the Xerox Secure Access Unified ID System™.

18.2. Option: Mobility Plate Kit

Mobility/floor plate information:

Mobility (floor) plates must be installed in the areas where the floor has any type

of carpeting or in on a surface that restricts the movements of the machine.

These areas include the following conditions:

• Carpeted floors

• Uneven floors - the floor under the press (and any optional accessories) must

meet the flatness/levelness specifications as previously discussed earlier in

this chapter.

• Floors with rough surfaces, such as damaged concrete or damaged wooden

floors
