If you select option 2, the following messages appear:
CALL THE FIELD SERVICE DISPATCHER AND REPORT THESE
NUMBERS
(DISPATCH CODES)
OPERATOR --- INDICATE THE ACTION YOU HAVE TAKEN.
1. SERVICE CALL HAS BEEN PLACED. WAITING FOR
SERVICE.
2. SERVICE CALL HAS BEEN PLACED. RETURN TO THE
OPERATING SYSTEM.
3. SERVICE NUMBERS COPIED FOR LATER CALL. RETURN
TO THE OPERATING SYSTEM.
4. NONE OF THE ABOVE. RETURN TO THE OPERATING
SYSTEM.
INDICATE SELECTION BY ENTERING NUMBER
If you select any option other than 1, you can continue using the LPS.
If you select option 1, the following messages appear:
SERVICE CALL PLACED.
WAITING FOR CE
1. REDISPLAY DISPATCH CODES
2. RETURN TO OPERATING SYSTEM
INDICATE SELECTION BY ENTERING NUMBER
Step 3. Select option 1 to see the dispatch codes, or select option 2 to
continue using the LPS.
Step 4. Ensure that you record the 6-digit dispatch code to report to the
service representative.
Note: In the U.S., the message CALL THE FIELD SERVICE
DISPATCHER AND REPORT THESE NUMBERS refers to the
National Customer Service Support Center. For non-U.S.
areas, contact your local service representative.
